NEON PINK SUNSETS

let me start off by saying that these images are not photoshopped! i was visiting my parents at their house (way out in the middle of nowhere), and gasped in awe when i glanced outside and saw this sunset. epic sunsets are pretty normal out there, since there's absolutely nothing obscuring the view... but this was one of the most amazing ones i've ever seen. what made it better is this odd little lake type situation that happens when it rains a lot- it's only a few inches deep, but is currently inhabited by a couple hundred frogs, and acted as the best photo backdrop of all time. amazing, right?! so glad i ran out in time to grab a couple shots before the sun sank behind the mountains- this is what i'd been wearing to run errands earlier in the day.
so since this is a sort of night-time themed post, i thought i'd show you guys my studio at night. yesterday was the day i got my keys, so i (with the immense help of my boy) got most everything set up. it was the first day i got to spend just hanging out in the studio, and i seriously never wanted to leave. i almost died when the sun went down and i saw the view... i will NEVER get tired of staring at this while i work.
and this, ladies and gentlemen, is the view from my desk:
swoon.
tomorrow is my first day of real work in the studio... i can't wait.
