don't mind that my hair is like, 6 different colors right now. i'm trying to let it go back to it's natural color...and i honestly have no idea what that color is. it's looking to be a light brown. so currently i have this dark horizontal "stripe" in the middle of my hair because i don't want to bleach it to make it all the same color... maybe i'll start a new trend. stripes are so in right now.
so... if you look to the far right, you'll see the little bio my friend michelle wrote about me a few years ago. included in the description is "grandma's old couch"... and that would be directed straight to this outfit post. i am OBSESSED with gaudy 60s and 70s floral print upholstery fabrics. i would wear an entire wardrobe made from these fabrics if i could. i stumbled upon the most amazing pant/jacket set at one of my favorite vintage shops in fresno for 7 dollars... and decided that i needed to cut the pants into shorts- the final product being what i'm wearing above. i'm not home, so i haven't been able to hem them yet... but not sure that i will- i sort of like the fraying hems. so now i have a super awesome blazer in this same print, and yes, i put both of them on at the same time and almost walked out the door. i have SOME restraint. (not really, as i opted for a leopard blouse instead)
speaking of couches, i found an AMAZING white one (as well as a gorgeous mucha print) from the 70s at some old hippie dude's yard sale yesterday. can't wait to get it in my studio!!!
