In addition to the lovely ladies who took to the red carpet last night there were ALSO some men. Who knew?! Some of the aforementioned men looked rather dashing indeed in their evening attire, and, in order to help abate the boredom of a rainy Monday, Grazia Daily has compiled for you a special edition of Oscars Best Dressed - The Men.

Unsurprisingly, Colin Firth [top] looked impossibly handsome in Tom Ford, wearing a shawl collar tuxedo with Ford’s signature low V and single button fastening. Also in Ford was The Trousersnake, with Justin opting for a super wide peak lapel tuxedo, accessorized with one of the biggest bow ties of the night and a Cartier watch.
Also not a massive surprise, considering he’s the face of their ‘The One’ fragrance, was Matthew McConaughey in Dolce & Gabbana. Sporting a narrow peak lapel tuxedo with a white buttonhole, Matthew accessorized with a classic white shirt and black bow tie combo. Joining him in Dolce & Gabbana was pint sized pop poppet Justin Bieber, who wore a slim fitted satin jacket and waistcoat, which he worked with black jeans and converse, and accessorized with Selena Gomez.
And whilst Grazia Daily TOTALLY called the sartorial battle between Tom Ford and Armani yesterday, there was a lot more Gucci on the red carpet than we had predicted.

James Franco, who co hosted the ceremony and was also nominated for best actor for his performance in 127 hours wore almost all of the Gucci Made To Order mens formalwear collection. Opening the show in a Made to Order black ‘Marseille’ single button tuxedo with grosgrain lapel, he then changed into a grey velvet single button tuxedo in the same cut, and with the same grosgrain lapel, but this time accessorized with a pale grey dress shirt, grey satin bowtie and black leather buckle dress shoes. As well as the above, James sported a Gucci Made to Order navy ‘Heritage’ two button tuxedo with – you guessed it - a navy satin tie and navy satin cummerbund. And following the awards, Franco made his final change of the night and changed into an (also Gucci) cream single button, shawl collar evening jacket with white shirt, cream tie and black tuxedo trousers. Very fancy.
Also wearing Gucci was Javier Bardem, who donned a Gucci black peak lapel ‘Signoria’ tuxedo with two button fastening, which was one of only a few three-piece tuxedos on the night.

As last year (when one tweeter commented that ‘Christian Bale is wearing Joaquin Phoenix’), the best supporting actor winner sported top-toe-toe black Gucci, which he accessorized with some increasingly impressive facial hair. Hugh Jackman, a man who could make a TESCO carrier bag look sexy, wore one of the evening’s only double-breasted suits, provided for him by Ferragamo
Star of 'The Social Network', Andrew Garfield, looked super sharp in a narrow cut Louis Vuitton tuxedo with a single button fastening and a classic white shirt and black bow tie combo. Super smiley Ryan Seacrest, who was hosting the Red Carpet coverage for E! donned a grosgrain notch lapel tuxedo, a dress shirt, tie and shoes all by Burberry.

And finally, one of our favourite menswear looks of the evening come from Jude Law, who wore top to toe Dior (again, not surprising, considering he’s the face of Dior Homme Sport). Jude sported a narrow peak lapel black tuxedo, alongside a super crisp white
