i wanted to buy MAC Trace Gold Blush since over a year, when i saw a girl with a beautiful intense pink blush and strong gold shimmer i guessed i could recreate this look with a pink blusher and a blush topping like i assumed Trace Gold to be (from all the times swatching it at the counter).Make up by MAC Blush Powder - Trace Gold ( Sheertone Shimmer ) 6g/0.21oz
now finally having it i am somewhat surprised that it doesn't look like the Trace Gold in my imagination.  this one is much finer in texture and less gold but more a peachy beige compared to what i remembered and would like it to be.MAC Blush Powder - Trace Gold (Sheertone Shimmer) US$25.00
it is finely milled and soft and has a medium pigmentation. however i'm not impressed by the shimmer that appears to be a bit boring and flat - remembers me of the shimmer of Benefit's Coralista.
Trace Gold gives me a warm peachy bronze look with a dewy sheen, i have to be careful not to overdo it since it can emphasize on enlarged pores or look greasy. the colour lasts well on me and doesn't fade or oxidize.
in the end this blush might have to leave me since i don't find it to be unique enough to be kept.
MAC Blushes contain 6g and cost 22€/16.50£/18$ in the containers and 18€/13.50£/15.50$ as a refill pan, i bought mine on allcosmeticswholesale.com.
