TREND //Nails Did : OPI Black Shatter Enamel
I’ve pretty much been obsessed with OPI’s Black Shatter nail polish since I learned of it. A specific release date was hard to find, and it was even harder to find a salon that even knew what I was talking about in my tiny city. However, the lovely ladies over at Alison & Co. Salon and Spa were able to help me out! I contacted them a few weeks ago about it, they took my name and promptly contacted me when it was available. I was so excited!
I thought about doing it at home, but since I never do my own nails anymore, I had no nail doing supplies. So I scooted on over to my favorite nail people and let them have at it!
I was a little afraid at first. It goes on weird and just looks wrong before it dries. But the effect is amazing once it’s dried over your nail color. While I love the effect, I thought the color I chose to go under the Black Shatter (which was Sally Hansen Hi-Definition Nail Color in DVD) would be brighter and thicker than it actually is. Next time I’ll go with a brighter color that will highly contrast the black.
I’ve not seen any places online that I would feel comfortable ordering this OPI Black Shatter from, so check your local salons and spas.
