Golden girl Lara Stone, after a five year runway streak, still is able to generate mass intrigue. Perhaps it’s because her proportions throw the fashion Powers That Be a bit off kilter. A size 7 shoe is a rarity among big toed models, but Stone gets a pair customized for every catwalk. Moreover, her busty cup size actually makes the runway outfits wearable in real-girl time, and dare we say more pretty? The 27 year old-Dutch siren has used these head-turning attributes to her advantage while working that famous gap-toothed grin for Givenchy, Calvin Klein, Jean Paul Gaultier and Marc Jacobs. Also, being dubbed the “anti-model” by NYT writer Cathy Horyn, and seen tripping on a Chanel runway back in 2006, has done nothing to blemish her career.
