Actress Go Ara revealed that she injured her leg while filming for her new movie, “Pacemaker“.
On April 4th, the actress tweeted, “I didn’t want everyone to worry so I tried to be really careful with my leg injury… It is a bit hard, but I’m overcoming it just fine. I’m receiving treatment, so please don’t worry~ I feel that it was an opportunity for me to really feel the pain of real athletes. Korea, fighting!  All of us, fighting!”

Representatives from her agency, SM Entertainment, revealed that Go Ara was cast to play the role of a pole vaulter, and that she had injured her Achilles tendon during filming. They stated, “About two weeks ago, she was being trained in pole vaulting when she accidentally injured her Achilles tendon. She was in a cast, but it’s not a big injury. The cast is currently off, and she is receiving physical therapy and is improving. We feel that she will recover in time for the movie’s crank-in.”
