Black Eyed Peas’ frontman Will.I.Am has a lot of nice things to say about Cheryl Cole it seems. Being the producer of Cheryl’s last two successful albums, this shouldn’t be too surprising. This time, the hitmaker reveals that the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, had wanted to work with the Geordie singer before his untimely death in June 2009.

According to Will.I.Am, whose real name is William J. Adams, Michael Jackson was eyeing the prospect of collaborating with Cheryl Cole — after receiving recommendations from William. The music producer told MJ that Cheryl Cole was, at that time, the hottest singer in the UK, and how she could dance and sing. He said that MJ would’ve worked with Cheryl — if it hadn’t been for his passing.
Guess we’d never be able to hear the amazing duet — between Cheryl Cole and Michael Jackson — that never was.
