Darlings, the celebrities came out to celebrate diamonds! Have you ever heard of anything more meaningful in your life? It's the Cartier 100th Anniversary in America Celebration at Cartier Fifth Avenue Mansion in New York City - and you weren't invited! Let's be snotty and judge them instead.

Anne Hathaway:
Modified Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 Collection
Model: Magdalena Frackowiak

Well, okay. Good for her for insisting on some modifications because the original dress was kind of ugly and besides, Anne Hathaway doesn't expose her nipples for less than 7 figures. Problem is, it's modified to the point of not only being an entirely different dress; it's a boring and kind of ugly one to boot.

Demi Moore:
Prabal Gurung Fall 2009 Collection
Model:
Megan McNierney

She looks fabulous. No complaints here.

Eva Mendes:
Azarro Fall 2009 Collection
Model: Sabrina Benamor
It's a pretty fab dress and it looks better on her than on the model. The only thing is, that neckline paired with those shoulders does kind of give off the distinct whiff of Rose Nyland, no? Love the Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.

Rachel Weisz:
Prabal Gurung Fall 2009 Collection
Model: Hyoni Kang

Again, no complaints here. Love the shoes.

Kate Hudson:
Rachel Roy Fall 2009 Collection
Model: Jill Bauwens

We've seen this dress on other starlets and it's not an easy dress to pull off. Surprisingly (because she rarely demonstrates this skill), she's wearing the hell out of it. Since it's got such a '40s feel to it, we would have recommended a more structured hairstyle though.
