Winter may still be upon us, but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with planning ahead for brighter days. Pop-packing colors were seen all over the runways for spring, so we thought the moodboard needed a hint of Vitamin C to nourish us through the cold weather. We have a concentrated concoction of oranges, lemons and limes you can pair with dark solids, mixed prints or a fruit sorbet with until the sun comes back. Take a peek. It’ll be good for you.

She looks awfully familiar doesn’t she? Kind of like you’ve seen her somewhere before, huh? Well, this enchanting fresh face belongs to  none other than Elizabeth Olsen, the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley, and the namesake muse behind one-half of the twins’ Elizabeth and James line. The 21-year old graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts already has a few Broadway theater credits under her belt, and three movies due out this year, among them Peace, Love, & Misunderstanding co-starring Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford. Keep an eye out for this rising star in 2011!

The best things come in pairs and small packages. Starlight Children’s Foundation, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping seriously ill children, and Forever 21 turn on the charm once again with their latest charitable twosome – star-adorned bracelets that come in pairs, so you can keep one and give the second to a friend. 100% of proceeds from these sweet friendship bracelets go to aid sick children, so pick up a pair of Starlight bracelets ($3.80) today.
