So Lady Gaga managed to be in eight places at once today. She was spotted in London, New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Amsterdam, Berlin, Shanghai and Hong Kong. Odds are the Haus of Gaga team built an outfit that’s doubling as a time machine, because confounding the laws of science would just be oh so typical of her. Unpredictable flux capacitors aside, we’re guessing these Gaga doppelgängers popping up all over the world are the Madame Tussauds wax figures finally making their highly-anticipated debuts. The eight life-like reproductions, outfitted in the style icon’s most beloved looks, cost $2.4 million to craft with each Gaga totaling in at $300,000 a pop. Hey, nobody said getting a good wax was cheap!

Some of our favorite things revolve around velvet. Red velvet cake… our VHS copy of “Velvet Goldmine”… David Bowie….It isn’t for the faint of heart, so it takes equal amounts of style and courage to pull the V-card holding dress out of the closet. Be brave.

Channeling kind of a "Gypsy" look today.
I bought this dress about 5 years ago in a vintage store on avenue C in the East Village (New York) this store was just perfect, they had the most beautiful vintage and antique dresses, kimono's and just about everything beautiful and then the shop just kind of disappeared! I have no idea if it moved to another location or simply closed its doors.. such a shame because it was really one of my fav places to shop :(
and talking about shopping... it's black Friday today! the day that really kicks of the holiday season's shopping!
